5 Tips for Winter Driving

It’s that time of the year; Mornings taken over by shoveling the sidewalks, waiting for our cars to heat up, and helplessly searching for last year’s car scraper. As we rush out the door to finish last-second holiday shopping or to work after sleeping in those extra few minutes – make sure to be cautious of the snow and ice covered roads. Be prepared and Drive Safe.

1. Before leaving for work or a holiday gathering, make sure your tires are properly inflated. Have your brakes checked to make sure the anti-lock system and traction control system are working properly.

2. The low winter temperatures affect the way cars start and run. Make sure your fluid levels – particularly anti-freeze – are sufficient.
